Hyderabad: Satyam Computer Services, a global consulting and information technology services company, has inked two multi-million dollar IT contracts with the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).According to the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by Satyam and FIFA, the Hyderabad-based company would develop a customised event management system as well as build an extranet and intranet for FIFA over the next 12 months.
The partnership will also comprise full, uninterrupted support for both solutions for FIFA, until the final whistle of each game. Working primarily from FIFA''s Zurich headquarters, Satyam will give in-country support for matches. It will also have teams work from offshore locations to enable lower costs and optimised CMM Level 5 quality. Satyam will be well placed to support FIFA''s 2010 World Cup in South Africa event to be held in that country.
