TCS Looks At Financial Products Business
Bangalore: Tata Consultancy Services is stepping on the gas to take its financial products business forward. TCS Financial Solutions, the financial subsidiary of TCS - which will be branded as TCS Bancs - is currently bidding for at least 150 deals contract which are in various stages of being awarded within the next 18 months. The division, which has a topline of $170 million (around Rs 690 crore), currently employs around 2,200 consultants and expected to add another 500 by end of the fiscal. Updated at 1500 hrs: TCS Financial Solutions, a strategic business unit of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), unveiled a new executive team of product specialists. Robert U Mullen has been appointed head of global sales, and Dennis Roman has been appointed chief marketing officer. Roman will drive the branding and positioning of TCS BaNCS'' products through a global marketing and communications strategy. Prior to joining TCS Financial Solutions, Mullen was president of worldwide field operations at Chordiant Software. Roman has led the marketing and communications efforts for i-flex Solutions for five years.
