Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) has secured two major contracts cumulatively valued at Rs 267 crore from IOC and Liaoning Huajin Chemical Corporation, China. The orders will be executed by L&T''s Heavy Engineering Division (HED).
One of these contracts is for coke drums for the residual upgradation & MS/HSD improvement Project at IOC Gujarat. The other contract, for Huajin''s 200KTA Ethylene Oxide / Ethylene Glycol project, is for design, manufacture and supply of two ethylene oxide reactors. The markets took note of the development and the stock at Rs 2,621 levels surged 1.3 per cent or Rs 33 in noon deals on September 4.
