Bharati Shipyard Secures SCI Order

Mumbai: Bharati Shipyard secured a Rs 351-crore order from Shipping Corporation of India for design, construction and supply of four Anchor Handling Tugs cum Supply Vessels (AHTSVs) of 80 Tons Bollard Pull capacity. The advanced design also permits higher Dead Weight Tonnage and higher cargo carrying capacity. The AHTSVs function as a support and as a supply vessel in rig operations and also assists in anchor handling facilities to position the rig appropriately. The SCI order will take the company''s total order book to Rs 4,430 crore.
