Kirloskar Brothers Receives Rs 2,500-Cr Worth Orders In AP

Hyderabad: Kirloskar Brothers Ltd (KBL), a leading pump manufacturer has got over Rs 2,500-crore worth orders in Andhra Pradesh. Off late, KBL bought Kolhapur steel, a mini steel plant with a production capacity of 500 tonnes per month. In the near term, KBL wants to become a complete water management and solutions provider company. In that direction, it has acquired Gondwana Engineers, which specializes in water & waste water treatment. On Andhra Pradesh operations, he said the company has recently commissioned the EPC work at the Tadipudi Lift Irrigation project on the banks of Godavari near Rajahmundry.
