Reliance Finds More Gas In K-G Basin

Mumbai: Reliance Industries said that it has made a second gas discovery in what it referred to as the Miocene clastics reservoir in the Krishna basin. The company holds 100 per cent taking part interest in the block. This shallow water block of 1100 sq. km was awarded to the company under the NELP-III round of bidding. RIL is currently evaluating the commercial aspect of this discovery. The discovery has been notified to the Union Government and to the Directorate-General of Hydrocarbons.
