Nakoda Textile Commissioned Its 19500 MT, Per Annum FDY Plant At Karanj

Nakoda Textile Industries Ltd has informed that the Company has finally commissioned its 19500 tones FDY lines in October 2007. Company has achieved full utilization of FDY lines. The efficiency level of the said plant is around 98%. With the installation of said plant Company now will be one of the few major players in its segment of the Industry. FDY lines will produce filament yarn for weaving industry for which there is huge demand in Surat itself where Companys manufacturing facilities are located. The above project would add Rs 175 Crs to its top line and is expected to improve by Rs 7.5 Crs in its bottom line in the year ending December, 2008.

Currently the Company is engaged in manufacturing of POY, Texturised yarn and Draw twisted yarn and trading of all types of chips, yarns, fabrics and Salt. The expected turnover for the year ending December 31, 2007 is around Rs 590 crores as compared to Rs 356.96 crores in the previous year and the bottom line for the current year will be about Rs 10.00 crores as compared to Rs 6.14 crores during the previous year.
