State-owned Central Bank of India (CBI) and leading outbound travel agency Thomas Cook have tied up to offer a money transfer service via MoneyGram International, a leading global payment service. Thomas Cook has partnered MoneyGram in India since 1997. With a large number of NRIs settled in the US, Britain, Canada, Australia and the UAE, transfer of funds from these countries to India is high. The Central Bank of India with its network of 3282 branches can provide convenient and reliable money transfer services anywhere, said the source.
