Reliance Unveils Auto Zone In Jamnagar

Reliance Retail has unveils its first Auto Zone in Jamnagar, a store along the lines of its Reliance Fresh stores wants to make repairing your cars as easy as buying vegetables or fruits. It will be an automobile garage minus the regular grease and grime. Auto Zone opened its doors on Wednesday in Jamnagar and it promises not just to repair two wheelers and four wheelers but also sell spare parts and accessories. Opportunities in this segment today is unlimited as new car sellers just sell it to customers and handle issues only till first year and then, one has to go out and buy things from local market, where products are not guaranteed.

Jamnagar has added the most number of vehicles in all of Gujarat for the past two years and now forms a part of Reliance Retail''s larger strategy to target the tier two and tier three cities. For instance, Reliance's first hypermart in India, selling every household item, opened three months ago in Ahmedabad. The second one in Jamnagar, will target the rural market business has been strong enough for Reliance to plan 500 such hypermarts across the country over the next three years.
