The Union Government has given away an award to the Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (the Visakhapatnam steel plant) for its e-governance. The award was presented to a team from the plant at a conference in Panchakula in Haryana recently, by Mr A. Raja, Union Minister for Communications and IT. The team constitutes Mr Suman Das, AGM (IT), RINL, Mr S.S. Choudhury, DCM (IT), Mr V. Ratnakar, Manager (IT), Mr Sanjay Dargan, DGM (Marketing), and Mr R.V.N Sudhakar, DCM (Marketing).
