Tata Consultancy Services Wins New Multi-Year Deal With Chrysler LLC

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) on April 05, 2008 has announced that it has signed a new multi-year contract with Chrysler LLC to provide a comprehensive portfolio of IT services. The scope of this contract integrates the contract TCS announced in February with Chrysler.

TCS will deliver IT application and maintenance support services to Chrysler by leveraging its Global Network Delivery Model™ from various locations around the world as well as the recently announced TCS Seven Mills Park domestic delivery center outside Cincinnati, Ohio and through a locally recruited team in the Detroit, Michigan region. The project will include a portion of several functional areas within Chrysler such as Sales and Marketing, Shared Services, Product Development and After Sales.

The automotive industry is a key focus market for the TCS Manufacturing vertical which accounted for 15.1% of TCS'' FY 2007 $4.3 billion global revenues. TCS provides services to many of the automotive OEMs and tier one Companies in North America, Europe and Japan. These services are provided across the entire automotive value stream including product development, manufacturing, supply chain and customer experience areas.
