The company''s production for the month ended September 2008 was witnessed 8.4% growth to 13.77 lakh tons in comparison to 12.70 lakh tons recorded during the same month a year ago. In line with this, the company''s dispatches surged 6.2% to 13.68 lakh tons in September 2008 as against 12.88 lakh tons a year ago. On cumulative basis, Ambuja Cements has reported 5.57% and 5.2% growth in production and dispatches to 132.02 lakh tons and 131.94 lakh tons from January 2008 to September 2008 respectively.
