Infosystems Company Gets Contract From Delhi Police - Oct 31, 2008

HCL Infosystems, IT company, has received a multi-year contract from Delhi Police to provide solutions and technologies that would enable the police force to access automated information. The company has restructured the police control room through ICT as part of the contract. The control room consists of multimedia contact centre, and has the ability to track all PCR vans fitted with GPS devices and to coordinate their movements.

The Dial 100 solution contains Calling Line Identification and Direct Inward Dialling to help in identification and routing of calls. It also provides connectivity to mobile PCR vans through two-way radios/GPRS.
