M&M Plans To Launch Ingenio In 2008

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) had a bumpy ride in 2007 but its fortunes are beginning to pick-up in the new year. It is expected that new launches will drive M&M''s business this year. On the list are two new sport utility vehicle (SUV) models, the much awaited Ingenio that will be slightly cheaper than the Scorpio, apart from a high end SUV which just has a code name right now W-210. Mahindra & Mahindra is planning to launch several station wagon versions in the Indian market over the next one and half years. Even the Logan is likely to get bigger and bigger. The company plans to souble capacity from the current 45,000 over the next two years, some of which will be exported.
